About Aaron
aaron suttonBorn in San Antonio Texas, Aaron was raised in all four corners of The Lone Star State, the oldest of four siblings. His father, a Baptist Pastor and his mother recognized Aaron's creative abilities at an early age, and encouraged him to develop his talents. Throughout his elementary, junior high and high school days, Aaron entered and won just about every art contest that was available. His senior year, he was awarded a Gold Key Portfolio for the best high school portfolio in all of West Texas. Aaron was then awarded an exclusive scholarship to Texas Tech University for being one of the top local high school artists in 1999.

While earning his Bachelor of Fine Arts, Aaron discovered painting and hasn't been able to shake it. Aaron was recently selected for an MFA program. He decided instead to move to Scenic 30A with his beautiful wife Emily and paint the families, beaches and quaint communities that bring him daily inspiration.

Aaron only has one thing holding him back. He is both red green and blue violet color blind! Because of Aaron's color blindness his ultimate inspiration for painting is God.

2 Corinthians 12:9 "My grace is all you need, because my power is made perfect in weakness."

A young artist at only 28, Aaron continues to grow, learn, and follow the inspiration God gives him.

“Right now I feel like the world, and America in particular have lost sight of the things that really matter. We are out there chasing all kinds of desires and accomplishments that in the end leave us feeling unsatisfied. In my artwork and poetry, I want to point people to what truly matters. Life is simple and fulfilling when we get to know God and when we invest our time in the people that matter most, our family.”
